I'm firmly in the wtf category as well...googling executus simply tells me that there's a WoW server by that name, but not much else. If you're going to make a (semi?)obscure reference as the pun of your comic, can we please get a hint in a footnote?

Google also tells me that it's the name of some monster or something that you (I guess) fight. http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=12018 So my guess is that this is a NetHack representation of the part of WoW leading up to that scene. Yeah, footnotes help. Like, if my link above is a good one (and maybe it's not), then you could put that in the footnote.

Maybe like the final scene of Doom 2. (The hero has cleard earth from the bastards and leaves the last level by teleporting into their moon base. He dies pretty quickly.)

This is supposed to be a World of Warcraft reference - stumbles into another game. (A 40-man raid trying to kill a boss.) I tried to find the most recognizable moment from WoW, but still didn't quite make it. It's also my first try. Next one will be better.

The most recognizable moment from WoW would probably be the corrupted blood incident. (I mean, I know what that is, and I won't touch WoW with a ten-foot pole.)
